EVENTS TO RESUME AT PRIORY HALL, HALSTEAD

WITH EASING OF THE NATIONAL RESTRICTIONS , PRIORY HALL, HALSTEAD IS LOOKING FORWARD TO RESUMING ITS PROGRAMME OF SOCIAL EVENTS IN 2021 STARTING WITH AN AL FRESCO COFFEE MORNING IN MAY AND LATER ON A WELCOME RETURN FOR THE POPULAR TENOR , JOSHUA DANIEL.

A FULL PROGRAMME , SUBJECT TO CURRENT RESTRICTIONS AND GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES IS AS FOLLOWS: (ACCURATE AT THE TIME OF WRITING)

May 20th

 An Al Fresco coffee morning will take place on the grass outside of the Orangery. The plan includes meeting with a maximum of six persons around tables. It is our intention to hold this event weekly and it is hoped the event can be moved inside from the 21st June when Government COVID restrictions are further relaxed.

 June 22nd

 The mad hatters T party to coincide with the Royal Ascot racing week. The 22nd June is lady's day and we are asking that people come along wearing a hat that they have designed themselves. Hats can be beautiful, exotic, or funny, anything goes! The hats are to be judged by three male residents. The event starts at 15:00  and includes tea, coffee, cakes as well as strawberries and cream.

 July 12th

 Fruit picking at Spencers Farm with our resident drivers helping people get to the site who cannot or do not wish to drive.

 July 24th

An 80th Birthday party for one of the residents to be held on the croquet lawn. All residents are invited to enjoy Pimms, sandwiches, cakes as well as strawberries and cream.

 August 6th

 Joshua the Tenor will be performing on the Village Green for 1.5 hours with a break of half an hour after 45 minutes. Pimms and cocktails will be served during the interval. All types of music from different genres will be performed which should suit all tastes. Joshua loves audience participation so don't be shy!

 September 20th

 Harvest festival raffle, Lots of amazing prizes to be won including three fantastic food hampers as well as other goodies.

 October 12th

 The Prestige Duo performing in the Orangery singing various songs accompanied by all types of instruments. A night of fun.
